The WOW Factor of the new TomTom range is the new IQ Routes which works with the TomTom HD traffic, which is basically a cable which powers the Sat Nav and also using a SIM card and GPRS has built in communications ability to present real time traffic information. This information given from the current TMC has been taken a step futher as the HD Traffic information is enriched with actual current traffic conditions using the SIM card and GPRS enabling better and more accurate routes to be generated more realistic Estimated Times of Arrival.
HD Traffic will be available on the new GO 930, 730, 530 range and the current GO 920, 720, 520 for €60 including 6 months subscription. Other devices are expected to follow later with a software upgrade.
